Hello!
There’s no need for weekly visits at the beauty salon if you want your skin to look beautiful. You can always use all the staff that you already have in your kitchen or backyard. In this post, I will share some recipes on face masks, toner, and natural ingredients-based exfoliator. Enjoy.
At-home hydrotherapy
It is a perfect treatment to moisturize, cleanse, and boost blood circulation. The thing you’ll need for it is… a shower. How to perform at-home hydrotherapy? Just set the proper water temperature and pour it over the body. Start with cold water and after about 20 seconds change it to warm. Repeat the process for a few minutes. Just keep in mind that water cannot be freezing cold nor boiling hot.
Natural face mask
- Avocado face mask for dry skin:
- mix avocado with one tablespoon of yogurt,
- apply and leave for 10 minutes,
- rinse down and apply moisturizing cosmetics.
- Strawberry face mask for oily skin:
- mix strawberries, a tablespoon of yogurt and one-quarter of lemon juice,
- apply to dry pre-washed skin,
- leave for 10 minutes then rinse down.
Sugar scrub
I believe that it is the easiest cosmetic to make while being super effective. You just have to mix a few tablespoons of sugar with olive oil, honey, yogurt or other product with moisturizing properties. This DIY cosmetic is suitable for immediate use. Just rub it in the skin, perform short massage, rinse down and apply a moisturizing cream.
Green tea or chamomile toner
Brew green tea or chamomile (you can also choose any other herb that will take care of your skin). Wait for it to cool down, then pour it into the atomizer bottle and use it daily. Do not throw away the tea leaves bags because you can use those as an undereye compress.
