Why don’t I dye my hair as everyone else? My natural methods of hair colouring

HELLO!

Since I remember hair dyeing procedure conducted with the use of the products available in drug stores has been placed really high on my NOT TO DO list. To be honest, I don’t like all the herbal products because I find their smell off-putting; frequently, I was irritated by these cosmetics. For that reason, I decided to find some other methods of hair colouring. Today, you’re going to read about my discoveries.

COFFEE

Since it gets me back on my feet, it will cope with hair as well. According to many hair-maniacs, it is one of the tested and tried methods of making the strands darker. Just brew strong coffee, wait until it cools down and then put your hair inside the infusion. However, remember to wash your scalp before the procedure. Use a cleansing shampoo to remove the residues of styling cosmetics, sebum, dandruff and dirt. Also, use warm water to rinse the foam. In this way the hair cuticles will rise, and this opens the door for coffee to penetrate the hair. The good news is that you can repeat the procedure of hair dyeing as often as you want. Coffee, unlike chemical dyes, doesn’t cause damage to strands nor it irritates the scalp.

WALNUTS

It’s said that shells of walnuts contain pigments which are able to intensify brown colour of strands and camouflage the first grey hair. How to prepare the colouring walnut blend? Buy powdered shells of walnuts and dried leaves of walnut tree in an eco shop. Let them boil for 5 minutes in a pot filled with a half litre of water. Strain the mixture and let it cool down. Pour this walnut liquid onto your hair and then rinse with lukewarm water.

HENNA

I guess this is the most popular natural colourant you can use to change the colour of your hair. Before every procedure, I always run the colour test first. I separate a tiny strand of my hair, apply the product and leave it for a few minutes. If the effect is exactly the way I want it to be than I start colouring the entire hair. If you would like to change the colour of your hair in the same way, you have to devote your time to preparing the mixture. Combine 30 g of henna and 125 ml of water. Apply henna to your dry hair. Wash your hair a few times after an hour.

CHAMOMILE

This is the only one, and the best method of lightening hair up naturally. These inconspicuously looking small flowers can change the shade of your strands considerably. Thanks to it, your hair will become shiny and gain golden shade. If you care for brightening your hair, boil 4 spoons of dried chamomile in a half litre of water. Strain the infusion, cool down and drown the hair in it. The effects guaranteed!
