Today I have a great post for you! I invite you to the ranking of the best eyebrow pencils. You ask me often if I know of any eyebrow pencils worth recommending, so I rose to the challenge and prepared a list of the best eyebrow pencils, ranked from the best ones. Eyebrow pencil – which one to choose?

Which brow pencil do you recommend? Admit it – how many times have you typed this phrase into your browser, in search of a good pencil that does not smudge? I’m sure probably about a dozen times 🙂 

It took a while before I found a good brow pencil. O the way, I wasted a lot of money and time in the process… Well, that’s why I want to save you from a tedious search and to know right away exactly which product to aim at to be fully satisfied. 1. NANOBROW EYEBROW PENCIL 

A precision brow pencil with a very thin tip. It works beautifully, glides smoothly on the skin, does not wear off during the day, and provides me with perfect makeup at all times. This is the only eyebrow pencil that doesn’t smudge, but it’s easy to wash off easily and quickly when removing makeup. This great pencil comes with a refined formula and in lovely shades! In my ranking, it takes the top spot, so I can safely say this is the best brow pencil I’ve had the opportunity to test. It nicely sharpens the arches and defines the tails, giving brows a thicker look. I think you will love Nanobrow Eyebrow Pencil as much as I do!

2. BENEFIT PRECISELY, MY BROW PENCIL

I really liked this eyebrow pencil because it is available in very attractive shades. You can easily match it to your features, which is a big advantage. It provides pretty good coverage, although I think it’s a bit too strong for me (for daytime wear), so I reserve it only for evening makeup. It’s durable and waterproof: this brow pencil doesn’t smudge, but at the same time it’s hard to wash off.

3. ANASTASIA BH BROW WIZ EYEBROW PENCIL

This waxy brow pencil is retractable, has a thin tip, and features a great formula. It does a good job of filling in the gaps. This vegan eyebrow pencil is long-wear and smudge-proof, but the price is a big downside. You can choose from as many as 10 shades (some are quite orangey though). It’s formulated without parabens and silicones. It contains no microplastics or allergens. It is a good brow pencil, but in my opinion, it costs too much.

4. FENTY BEAUTY BROW PENCIL MVP ULTRA FINE BROW PENCIL & STYLER

Rihanna’s cosmetics have conquered the beauty world. They are highly praised. Is this product also a recommended eyebrow pencil though? Certainly, it’s quite interesting: it’s available in 14 shades – all of you can find the perfect shade. Apart from that, it is precise, ultra-thin, and quite good for creating the thinnest lines. Unfortunately, it costs a fortune, it’s hard to wash off, and the unusual brush doesn’t quite work for brushing out the excess product. A plus for the vegan-friendly formula.

5. KVD BEAUTY SIGNATURE BROW PENCIL

Girls, I have to tell you that I was very surprised that this brow pencil does not cost that much being released by one of the most popular makeup brands. Apparently, makeup queen Kat was gracious this time.  However, it quickly became clear that this eyebrow pencil receives mixed feedback and you either love it or hate it. I didn’t have a problem with the application, however, the pencil didn’t last all day on my eyebrows in perfect condition… I have a feeling that it oxidized and its shade changed. It also gets a minus also for the fact that the taupe shade should be cool but this one is kind of yellowish. 

6. MAKE UP FOR EVER AQUA RESIST BROW DEFINER PENCIL

My dear readers… I thought that if such a great brand released the brilliant iconic brow tint Aqua Brow, their eyebrow pencil would also be at a high level. Unfortunately, although it works quite decently, I have to say that the shades are quite underpigmented, and most feature warm brown tones. Overall, this is a pretty cool and recommended brow pencil, however, I don’t think I would buy it again, especially at this price.

7. LANCOME BRÔW DEFINE EYEBROW PENCIL

Unfortunately, the pencil comes in a small size and is quite expensive. The shades are probably not very thought-out: the blonde ones are decent, but if you have dark eyebrows, there is not likely to be much choice. One can infer that this is a brow pencil for blondes… The fact is that this pencil is ultra-precise and quite long-wear. The makeup looks nice, but the price combined with its low efficiency, in my opinion, outclasses it. 

8. THE BALM FURROWCIOUS BROW PENCIL 

I had high hopes and expectations for this eyebrow pencil because the brand is highly regarded in the beauty world and loved by influencers. So if this is such an eagerly recommended brow pencil, why exactly did it disappoint me so much? The durability is debatable, and the shades… I really didn’t know which one to choose to match my eyebrows. Overall, the consistency is nice, I must admit, and the pencil glides smoothly on the skin, but I don’t think that’s enough to make it the best brow pencil.

 9. HUDA BEAUTY BOMB BROWS MICROSHADE PENCIL

This brow makeup pencil is nicely released, comes at a pretty good price and there are a lot of shades to choose from… I know you often ask about it. Is it a good eyebrow pencil though? It did not impress me: because this pencil often breaks. The pigmentation is nothing special and you have to press it firmly against the skin during makeup. Well, and it often breaks when pressed. As you can guess, I used it up very quickly… so price-wise it didn’t do so well as a result. 

10. CHARLOTTE TILBURY BROW CHEAT PENCIL

8 shades, high price, and unusual, flattened tip, which unfortunately will never have the precision of thin retractable brow pencils. The shades are nice though but the price is unfortunately absurdly high. It’s a pencil for thick eyebrows which however have a lot of sparse areas and need to be filled in quickly. Although it lasts quite ok, well… I didn’t like it from the first use 😀 😉

11. MAC EYEBROW PENCIL EYEBROW STYLER

This eyebrow pencil gets really nice reviews so I was very curious about it… unfortunately, I think I got the wrong shade, although the brown one I chose seemed perfect. It came out slightly warm though and that does not match my skin tone. It’s a bit of a pity, because the pencil costs quite a bit, and I didn’t manage to find it on special offer. I can say that the durability is ok. It’s a waterproof product too if that’s important for you. 

Eyebrow makeup with a pencil – my super easy method!

How to define your eyebrows well with a pencil? It seems difficult and time-consuming, and even if you spend a lot of time in front of the mirror, your eyebrows seem uneven and asymmetrical. There is a remedy for this! Here’s how to define your eyebrows nicely with a pencil so that they are beautifully highlighted and symmetrical:

Brush your eyebrows, styling brow hairs in the right direction. This way you can see the bottom brow line better. Now reach for the pencil and gently outline the entire eyebrow, remembering the geometry of the eyebrows. Start with the bottom line it should be more defined. Define the tail a bit stronger and you are pretty much done, now you just have to fill in the middle part and blend the inner brow edge for a natural finish. Isn’t it easy?
