Hey girls!
I know there are fans of eco-friendly life, natural skincare and zero-waste among you, so this post is just for you. Here’s my recommendation of a fantastic product I’ve been testing lately. Keep reading if you’re interested in new products and beauty news:)
My current favourite is Nanoil Castor Oil, the iconic castor oil from Nanoil brand that became a HIT. It contains only pure natural castor oil (INCI: Ricinus Communis Seed Oil). It’s cold-pressed and unrefined to ensure it retains its valuable active ingredients, vitamins and minerals, to which Nanoil Castor Oil owes its beneficial effects on hair, skin and nails. The glass bottle contains the best of what mother nature has to offer. The active ingredients help to smooth the skin, combat cellulite, promote the growth of hair, brows and lashes and provide the skin with a youthful glow. The Nanoil oil can satisfy even the most demanding skin and it’s suitable for vegans and vegetarians, as it’s vegan and cruelty-free. It’s free of parabens, silicones, SLS, synthetic dyes and preservatives. Nanoil Castor Oil is 100% natural, cold-pressed castor seed oil.
What made me choose Nanoil Castor Oil?
With regular use castor oil effectively nourished my body, softened my skin, minimised fine lines and stretch marks and restored resilience to my hair. Thanks to its rich but light texture, I use it as an oil-based face serum – I apply a few drops of oil directly to my face or in combination with other oils. This procedure, repeated every evening, has saved my complexion. Once dull and full of imperfections and first wrinkles, is now firm and radiant. Nanoil oil provided my skin with better results than many expensive moisturisers:
- my skin is visibly smoother and properly moisturised, without the feeling of burning, itching or discomfort,
- it’s radiant and my skin tone has evened out – now I can confidently go out without makeup :),
- my skin is free of blemishes, it reduced redness and acne scars.
Nanoil Castor Oil is rich in fatty acids (mainly ricinoleic), responsible for rebuilding the skin and hair structure. I also recommend it as a serum for weak, short and sparse brows and lashes – the oil did a great job to repair the hairs damaged by the brow and lash lamination and henna, and darkened and thickened my naturally light lashes (castor oil is a natural ‘darkener’).
How do I use Nanoil Castor Oil?
Nanoil Castor Oil can be used in various ways. Here are my favourites 🙂
- As an overnight hair-conditioning mask – I apply the oil to the hair and scalp, then twist my hair into a bun and put on a shower cap (an old cotton t-shirt also works). In the morning, I wash my hair with a mild SLS-free shampoo and protect the ends with a small amount of oil. To ensure the oil doesn’t leave a greasy film on the hair, apply hair conditioner before shampooing.
- As an anti-cellulite massage oil – I warm a small amount of Nanoil castor oil in my hands, then massage the problematic thigh and bum area. I combine this ritual with a scrub: I mix castor oil with 2 tablespoons of sugar and rub it in circular motions while washing until the sugar dissolves. The results are spectacular!
- 3As an ingredient in an oil-based face serum – Nanoil castor oil is the base of my beloved DIY serum. I mix it with argan, jojoba and macadamia oil (you can find all of them here: nanoil.co.uk) and pour it into a glass bottle with a dropper. The combination of ricin with other oils makes the serum extremely light and is pleasant to apply.
You know I’d never recommend a product I’m not sure about. – I meticulously test, check and review all of them. Nanoil brand is my favourite discovery – their cosmetics are made of the best ingredients and their quality is confirmed by the international Ecocert certification. Nanoil Castor Oil provides a professional approach to natural skin care!
