Skin care tailored to seasons of the year matters enormously. With the onset of autumn, I always choose cosmetics that save my skin from getting weathered. I try to provide my skin with all that beauty products have to offer as well as get rid of the summertime beauty souvenirs. How?
Sun-bleached hair color
The summer sun makes hair look dull, strands are lighter, hair color fades away. If you want to keep your natural shade or preserve the color of your color-treated hair, use the right products e.g. shampoos for colored hair, ready-made or homemade hair rinses.
Pigmentation spots, post-summer souvenirs
The most common souvenirs we take with us from holidays. If you didn’t use sunblock, you’re probably left with pigmentation spots on your face. In autumn, you can try to remove them in a salon or at home using lemon juice, scrubs and creams with low concentration of acids.
Dry, dull hair
Extremely dry and shine-less hair is not rare after summer. Then, you are also bothered by frizz and static typical of autumn. To save your hairdo, use moisturising, smoothing and shine-boosting products. Oils, proteins and supplements work well. Also, think about having hair ends trimmed.
Chapped lips
If you tend to lick your lips in the wind or freezing cold, you can be sure the skin on the lips will flake and chap. For smoothing the epidermis, try a mild sugar scrub, moisturising mask or protective lipstick. Try applying some honey to lips and leaving it on for several minutes.
Cornified skin
In autumn, skin is thicker and has uneven texture. To get back its nice look, use low-acid creams in the evening or have acid facial done in a salon. An esthetician uses higher concentrations of acids that will exfoliate epidermis and even out skin tone.
